In 2008, Alliance Laundry Systems appointed Home Laundry Appliances (HLA) as the sole Australian importer and distributor of Speed Queen domestic laundry equipment. This is the first time that Speed Queen branded domestic appliances have been made available to the Australian market.
Speed Queen domestic appliances will feature the commercial quality and durability for which the Speed Queen name has been renowned.
HLA is a sister company of Commercial Laundry Appliances (CLA) and shares some of the same resources and infrastructure. CLA was established in 1989 and its business centred around servicing, renting and sales of equipment. In 1999 CLA was appointed the NSW & ACT distributor for Speed Queen and Unimac commercial laundry equipment.
CLA has received sales excellence awards for seven of the last eight years and was recently awarded the Global Achievement Award as the best distributor worldwide for Alliance Laundry Systems.
Home Laundry Appliances will benefit from the extensive experience and resources accrued by CLA, and will deliver the same excellence in customer service and support for which CLA is reputed.
